August - Bom Jesus e N. Sra. das Mercês religious parties.

September - 12th Seresta Day and birthday of Jucelino Kubitschek.

October - N. Sra. do Rosário religious party. The sound of drums and colorful ribbons take the streets.

December - New Year's evee and UFVJM prom.

Local Farmers and Artisans Fair - Every Saturdays in the old market (Mercado Velho).

Vesperata - Occurs in some Saturdays during the year. Music exhibition where the musicians are scattered among the houses of the Quitanda street .
